Jalapeno Bacon Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3 jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup New Mexico pecans, coarsely chopped
Directions
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together cream cheese, jalapenos, green onions, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ground cumin, and salt until fully incorporated.
- On a large plate place the coarsely chopped New Mexico pecans.
- Shape the cream cheese mixture into individual balls and roll around in the chopped pecans until coated well.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill for an hour before serving.
